The Islamabad Employees Social Security Institution (IESSI), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), commemorated World Patient Safety Day on the theme Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child from the Start.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner of IESSI said, “IESSI remains committed to providing safe and quality healthcare services for all, with a special focus on newborns and children. Patient safety is not just a priority, but a shared responsibility that demands collective action.”
Representatives from WHO, ILO, PANAH, CDA Hospital, Shifa International Hospital, and Akbar Niazi Hospital also addressed the event, highlighting the importance of strengthening healthcare systems to ensure safer care for neonates and children from the very beginning of life.
