Sickness Benefits
The secured worker registered with IESSI will be entitled to 75% of the wages and in case of TB/Cancer sickness benefit is paid @ 100% of wages.
A secured person shall be entitled to receive sickness benefits throughout the periods of sickness provided that during a continuous period of three hundred and sixty five days such benefit shall not be allowed for a period exceeding (a) three hundred and sixty five days, in case he or she has been suffering from Tuberculosis or Cancer which render and employee incapable to earn livelihood (b) one hundred and twenty one days, in case he or she has been suffering from any other disease.
